If you signed up using the mobile app, please complete the initial setup on the dashboard.
1. Submitting an Overtime Request (Employee)
Overtime requests can only be submitted via the Shopl app, so please complete the process on mobile.
- Open the app and navigate to [Menu] > [Overtime], then tap the pen icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select the date of the overtime, fill in the time, workplace, and reason (all fields are mandatory), and submit your request.
2. Approving Overtime Requests (Leader/Administrator)
Overtime requests can be approved or rejected through both the Shopl app and dashboard.
[Status Help]
- Work: Calculated based on actual hours worked after being assigned overtime, using clock-in/clock-out records.
- Planned: Overtime assigned either by the employee directly requesting and receiving approval, or by being automatically assigned due to a schedule exceeding regular working hours.
- Pending: Overtime requested by the employee but still awaiting approval.
- Requestable: Displays the remaining overtime hours available for request during the current week.
Dashboard
- Go to [Menu] > [Approvals] tab > [Overtime] tab > select the person whose overtime request you wish to review.
- Review the overtime details and click the Approve button to complete the approval.
- If there are any issues with the overtime request, click Reject and provide the reason (mandatory).
- Employees who receive a rejection must resubmit their overtime request for approval.
App
- Go to the Main Screen > Switch to [Leader Mode] > [Pending] > click on the overtime request.
- Select the overtime request you wish to review and click the Approve button to complete the approval.
- If there are any issues with the overtime request, click Reject and provide the reason (mandatory).
- Employees who receive a rejection must resubmit their overtime request for approval.
