Punch-in with QR Code
If you're punching in at a workplace that doesn't use QR code location verification or from a temporary workplace, set the QR code recognition button on the punch-in card to OFF.
With QR code OFF, only GPS and face verification (if enabled) will be used.
Punch-in from a Workplace That’s Not Registered
In the main screen, click the [Punch in] button located in the middle to start the attendance recording.
🚨 When Multiple Workplaces Appear Nearby
When you click the punch-in button and multiple workplaces appear nearby, please select the registered workplace or temporary workplace where you want to punch in. If the desired location is not listed, select [Punch in from a new place].
If no registered workplaces are found nearby during location verification, the system will switch to the temporary workplace punch-in process. Enter the workplace name and reason, then proceed with face verification.
If it’s a frequently visited temporary workplace, select [Use this reason next time]. This will save the temporary workplace in the system for quick punch-in/out during future attendance records.

Q. The camera doesn't activate for face verification!
Is the camera screen not loading or is it stuck on the loading screen during face verification? This could be a problem with the device not pulling up the camera.
If this issue arises, try opening a different camera app (e.g., Snow) to check if the device can access the camera screen properly.
Q. I can’t record my attendance because the screen shows no registered workplaces nearby!
If you're unable to record your attendance due to this issue, please follow the guide below:
If your registered workplace location doesn't match your actual punch-in/out location, you can modify the location based on where you're actually working. Once approved by your leader/administrator, you will be able to use the corrected location for punch-in/out. If the leader/administrator finds the location to be inaccurate, they can reject the modification.
If the location shown on the map differs from your current position, it's likely that the GPS signal is weak or there may be an error. To resolve this, improve your GPS accuracy by checking your real-time location information and trying again.
You can review and manage workplace location information from the Dashboard or App Leader Mode on the [Approval > Workplace Location] page.
After reviewing the workplace location that the employee wants to modify, choose whether to approve or reject the request. Once approved, the employee can punch in/out at the requested location. The workplace certification will proceed based on the location approved by the admin/leader.
You can compare the saved workplace information with the employee’s requested location to verify the accuracy. The employee will also attach a photo of the workplace when submitting the request, allowing you to confirm whether they arrived at the location before submitting.
Even if you're not connected to Wi-Fi, simply turning on Wi-Fi can improve location accuracy. This is especially helpful for workplaces in indoor or densely built areas where GPS alone might not be accurate. Turning on Wi-Fi can enhance the accuracy of your location.
Try opening a map app to check your current location.
To help the Shopl app accurately detect your location, please make sure "Precise Location" is enabled. If it's turned off in your settings, please enable it and try recording your attendance again in the Shopl app.
1) Go to System Settings > Shopl App > Location.
