1. Go to Dashboard > Approval > Approval Settings menu.
2. In the Approval Policy tab, enable the [Allow Self-Approval] setting.
If the Delegation of Approval Authority setting is enabled, the [Delegation of Approval Authority] tab will appear on the left side of the Approval Policy tab.
The approver can approve their own requests.
Even if the person is the approver, they cannot approve their own requests. Only their higher-level group leader or administrator can approve the request. If self-approval is disallowed, the following message will appear when attempting to approve their own request.
