Edit Attendance Records

Editing attendance records is only possible for administrators and leaders with approval authority.

1. Attendance Record Editing Function

Edit Permission

By default, administrators and leaders with approval authority have the edit permission. Administrators and leaders with this authority can edit (create, modify, delete) attendance records through the app and dashboard when they are incorrect or missing.

Administrators have edit permissions for all employees, and leaders have permissions for their assigned group. You can also grant edit permissions to specific employees through detailed settings.

  • You can set this under Feature Settings > Attendance > Authority to edit employees' attendance records.

Scope of Editing

You can create, modify, or delete attendance records, and also edit records for moving to another workplace, arrival, away status, and return.

Whenever you edit attendance records, the system will log who, when, and why the change was made. A push notification will be sent to the employee when the edit is completed.

2. Creating Attendance Records

Dashboard
  1. Go to Dashboard > [Attendance] tab > Detailed employee attendance record > Click the "Create Attendance Record" button at the top-right.
  2. Choose the type of record you want to create (punch in/out, moving, away status, return) > Check the corresponding checkbox > Enter time, place, and reason for creation (required), then save.

App
  1. Go to Leader Mode > Menu > [Attendance Status] > Detailed employee attendance record > Tap the "Create Record" button at the top-right.
  2. Choose the type of record you want to create (punch in/out, moving, away status, return) > Check the corresponding checkbox > Enter time, place, and reason for creation (required), then save.

3. Modifying Attendance Records

Dashboard
  1. Go to Dashboard > [Attendance] tab > Detailed employee attendance record > Hover over the record you want to modify, and the "Edit" icon will appear.
  2. Click the "Edit" icon to open the edit window.
  3. Modify the time or location and enter the reason for modification (required), then save.

App
  1. Go to Leader Mode > Menu > [Attendance Status] > Detailed employee attendance record > Click the pencil icon for the specific record > Select "Edit".
  2. Modify the time or location and enter the reason for modification (required), then save.

4. Deleting Attendance Records

Dashboard
  1. Go to Dashboard > [Attendance] tab > Detailed employee attendance record > Hover over the record you want to delete, and the "Delete" icon will appear.
  2. Review the item to be deleted and enter the reason for deletion (required), then save.

App
  1. Go to Leader Mode > Menu > [Attendance Status] > Detailed employee attendance record > Click the pencil icon for the specific record > Select "Delete".
  2. Review the item to be deleted and enter the reason for deletion (required), then save.
